STUDENT OUTREACH SERVICES Vision Statement The culture of Whitney M.Young Magnet High School is one that seeks to be multi-faceted as well as balanced. We encourage all members of our school community to be progressive thinkers and active participants in the healthy development of our youth. The vision of our Student Outreach Services is to create a foundation of mental-health resources and to raise health awareness for our school community. Mission Statement The mission of the Student Outreach Services is to raise health awareness in our school community by offering a website with information about mental-health resources. We are currently planning to bring some exciting educational programs to our school community. These programs will provide students and staff with new ways of navigating through varying states of health. Why is this project important?
